i aim at these salmon spread for so long.. then i realised.. okay eat it.
i keep hesitating as i am trying to go for a diet now (which i know i cant)..

yup. the whole packet is in my tummy now.

saturday, we met up with the usual ahbungs at vivocity, intended to watch movie but due to bad seats... we dropped the idea.

when we were about to walk away, my slipper broke. madness!
thus bf ong went to mini toons to buy a slipper for me which is size 39!! that's their smallest size!

he bought it already but i felt really embarrassing so i told him to go 7-11 check out.
and yea, got a pink one at $2.90 in my size.

then they saw kites. and wanted to go kite-flying..

we went to marina barrage, no wind.
decided to give it up and head to east coast park.

the wind was not strong, not even mild. we still decided to try out once since we're already there..

smile! happy boys!!

mervyn giving the "your go try lor, confirm fail one! i know!"

haha..

look at my baby boy wanting a picture with panda kite..

i don't know why he is so cute, do you think so? (:

i love you.

it was so dark but if you see clearly, it is bf ong running around madly for the kite to "look like it is flying" but it was "flying" bcos he was running. mad cute. we were all happy at that moment, and we laughed non-stop.

overall, our kite-flying attempt failed! haha but we had a great time (:

mother's day dinner at noble house with bf and his family (:
we had ala-carte buffet which was really good and filling! we had so much food!
im thinking about the pigeon soup in bamboo... now.. no pigeon inside! but it is so nice..

just now, i decided to cook CPV (diced carrots, potatoes, some vegetables) porridge.
we wanted something simple to go with many cheapo nehneh canned food so i didn't add any seasoning to the porridge just some carrots and potatoes so there are a little vitamins/nutrients in the porridge (i think so, it makes me feel healthier. hhaha)

while letting the porridge boil, we went to the nearby petrol station to buy what we want.

boyfriend's favourite spicy diced pork cubes.

sardines which i added some chillipadi and big onions..

fermented tofu.

preserved veg for porridge.

the brown thing is an instant egg which we bought from the petrol station, i just threw it down into the boiling porridge to "kill germs". ;p

i cooked one cup of rice for the porridge.
we finished up everything.

bf ong said " you know why? cos what you cook is very nice.. "
i felt hapy upon hearing that, but i said " of cos nice, all instant food! haha! "
and he said " no ah, the porridge is nice "

hehe. so much love.

i hope we can be loving loving every day.

i went for hair treatment with qianyi, who touched up her hair colour just now.
stay in tune for the pictures.

im so tired, gonna try to sleep now.
urgh, feeling all guilty with all the salmon spread in my tummy now.

Bet u feel the same

If you had noticed or is a daily reader like 'passerby' on my tagboard, you would know that I love to catch softtoys and usually take it as a recreational/time wasting activity that boyfriend and I do when we had nothing to do after supper..

Just that recently we stopped doing that for 2months or so because we find that the regular (east coast park) place we always go to gets tougher and tougher each time we spend money there. Initially it was okay. But it suddenly just gets tougher. Usually we have to spend like maximum $40 for a jackpot at the 'sweets catching machine' (if you know what it is).. And we get a middle sized soft toy!

Previously just now we went for a try again and spent close to $40 yet all we catch up are either small super ring packets (a kind of snack), boxes of yo-yo (what for? To add on weight so that the sweets can't push it down the slot), or nothing. (Or maybe just a few sweets).

The whole machine is filled up with tidbits packets and I don't know why. The china lady keeps opening up the machine and adding more packets whenever she notice there's a 'hole' for people to catch easily.

To the extend we even told the lady to stop because they were piling up like madness!!

So we spent about $40 and got nothing. Less than 100grams of sweets (compared to about definitely more than 1kg in the past). Truly disappointed and fuming mad. Really.

So we walked away empty handed (without sweets/soft toys) and eventually stopped at another machine trying to finish off the rest of the coins we're left with.

Luckily bf managed to catch one bear with $3 and we exchanged it for a minnie. Sigh. Indirectly, the minnie cost us $40.

I know sometimes it is not about the money but the excitement while trying to catch the bear, and the contentment when you managed to catch the bear. But NOT when you really try hard, spend much, and get nothing in return.

Since I already have more than enough bears (what you see in the pictures of the bears on the sofa is half of what I have in bf's room. The other half are those unwanted wants I packed them up in big bags ready to donate to salvation army). Bf and I decide not to go to ecp to catch soft toys anymore. The excitement is gone.

bad night at ecp. I really dislike the new arrangement. (I think they change to some stingy boss) haha. Fuck it.

Gonna source out for more better bear-catching places!

One day gonna bring bf to causeway point as they got quite a great arcade there too. Only that we can't go in the middle of the night as it closes when the mall does. Hehe.

Waiting for our mac delivery now!

Have a great weekend and happy mother's day!

Xoxo,
Cindynah
