Oh yum yum... I request for a small small bowl this year.. Still have to have 2eggs though.. Idk why but its one of the traditional stuffs?
Theres mushroom, spring onions, lean meat, pig's liver&kidney etc, they all have some meaning but im not very sure..
One thing im very sure is even though i dont really like the idea of swallowing 2eggs, i will still eat them because every year i eat 面线, i get to pick lucky 4D numbers! Haha!!
It has been a "tradition" (idk if only my family does this).. That you just have to sit down and wait to be serve, my mom will bring the bowl, chopsticks, spoon and a plate of rolled up individual numbers to me..
Then take a bite of anything u wish to, and pick a number w your chopsticks.. Then take a bite of anything you wish to, and pick.... Till you pick 4numbers.
My mum also said that while putting the noodles into the bowl or when eating from the bowl, try not to "snap"/break the noodles up.. So usually you slurp up how much you take from ur chopsticks.. (i do them in small amts, easier) Haha!
