guess what?
j and i slept around 5pm yesterday and then we both woke up at 2am feeling damn energetic!
therefore, j called george and he introduced us to the night bazaar, 'hui huang'
cabbed there and indeed, it is like our pasar malam, only operating in the night till 5am!
both of us walked around and guess we both felt kinda disappointed because it is so kampong, and the clothes there don't really suit us... nothing much to buy..
i got quite a few mosquito bites, which i dread alot, it makes me very restless and irritated..
the roadside stalls really is very seriously scary, i don't know, i am not usually the kinda girl who goes "yee... yikes.." but i really said that when i saw those food. imagine?!
then we were like grumbling why george introduced us to such place, first to rich tai-tais place (everything too expensive to buy), second to too kampong place (too 'slum' for us). guess we're probably really very hard to please. *gulps.
i keep worrying about whether the mosquitoes will cause dengue, they are so poisonous i feel itchy no matter how i wash, clean, or apply creams.. ):
window shopped, had 'supper', and wanted to go to cha-tu-chat but it was too early (5:30am), so we headed more deeper into the 'kampong' and saw more 'kampong'!! ahaha, not that serious la, just that it is those kinda wet market, very kampong-ed styled, where chickens and rooster are in the cage and they buy like that..
later on, we realised that we're still very early (6:30am), so we head back to hotel and watched american pie 5. haha, then it was time to go (8:30am). reached ctc around 9am and start walking. the place is a maze! but i was quite irritated because actually, it is just like our bugis street. (&i never knew how to really shop at bugis street).. baby was there making fun of me, saying that i am lousy and blah...
nothing much to buy, it's not like what we always hear "stash the price half! if they don't, walk away, they'll pull you back!" wtf..... those people very guai lan la (even though they're still polite, to be fair). haha, nothing much to buy leh.. very hot some more, i feel like i am a shade tanner now =p
we really cannot accept the food there, afterwhich, we head back to the hotel about 3pm and continue with our american pie show and decide to order food from the hotel. lol.
relaxed and head to big c shopping centre (just realised it is the wrong one we been to), it is somewhere near our hotel.. though nothing to shop for, but we were lucky, don't know why when we came out of the shopping center about 7pm, there's pasar malam again! all going at around 100-300 bht! okay la, but just a stretch of stalls.. didn't buy much too.. hard to try on the tees, i rather not buy.
bb accompanied me with my gel extension remover, well, seem very experienced with all the designs and such but suck at removal. all my cuticles are swollen and it is so painful. and know what? didn't even finish buffing lor please, bb even help me with my right hand while the manicurist did my left hand. i couldn't tolerate the pain and asked to stop instead, asked for a buffer to bring back to the hotel and buff myself (they're all nicely done now, but still so painful).
packed macdonalds' back, got pork burger (so yummy), and fried chicken and now lazing on the hotel bed with baby still digging their coke.. (don't know why, but thailand's coke seriously like much nicer! haha)
going to turn in soon.. we've been walking around since like 2am last night!
good night people!
the pictures will be up when i return. hehe.
